  • Product Manager & Digital Content Lead, partnering with the creative director and engineering teams.

Product strategy, site merchandising, editorial campaigns, private label design, brand storytelling, cross-functional collaboration.

  • My goal was to launch a luxury eCommerce platform that showcased Africa’s premier brands while creating an elevated shopping experience. This resulted in increased customer loyalty through cohesive brand and UX strategy, enhanced brand visibility through editorial campaigns, and improved merchandising scalability by optimizing site operations and workflows.

  • My favorite part of the project was partnering with the CEO and Creative Director, Akin, on the platform build — his expertise in design and creative direction taught me a lot. I also enjoyed working on set for editorial shoots and meeting designers at trade shows and NY Fashion Week, which helped bring the vision to life.

PROBLEM

Emerging African luxury designers and artists lacked access to the American market, hindering their ability to distribute, promote, and gain visibility for their brands.
